FUNCTION
Centralized emergency lighting systems (CELS) of the BS-Elektro series are independent emergency power sources used for emergency lighting purposes only.
CELS provide all emergency lighting types and modes in buildings and structures and allow to use standard high-performance light appliances for emergency lighting in large rooms and indoor areas where it is required by safety or process regulations.
The system functions not only as an emergency power source for the emergency lighting system (its main function) but also as an emergency lighting switchboard (ELS) and provides full control over emergency lighting.

APPLICABILITY
Public buildings: indoor sport arenas, concert halls, movie theaters and theaters, large office centers, supermarkets and indoor marketplaces, exhibition areas, airports, railway and bus stations, etc.
Industrial buildings and structures: large parking lots, underground car tunnels, large warehouses, indoor production areas, outdoor industrial areas, restricted areas, etc.
OPERATION PRINCIPLES
The BS-Elektro CELS is a dedicated emergency power unit (EPU).
When the input supply voltage changes, the system automatically switches the load (the emergency lighting system) from an AC power supply to a 220 V DC power supply from the battery.
When the specified supply voltage restores, the system automatically switches the load back to the AC mains and then provides a quick battery charging.
APPLICABLE STANDARDS
The centralized emergency lighting system of the BS-Elektro series conforms to EN 50171, an international standard.
The system is harmonized with engineering and safety requirements of GOST 26416-85, "Uninterrupted power supply units for voltage to 1 kV. General specifications." The system is harmonized with relevant GOST R IEC 598-2-22-99 and GOST R IEC 60924-99 sections on emergency luminaries and DC electronic ballasts for emergency lighting purposes.
The system is harmonized with the Electric Installation Regulations ("PUE") (the 7th edition), Section 4.4 regarding batteries. This product fully conforms to Russian and European electric and fire safety regulations. The manufacturer guarantees EMC compliance. |
